CHALLENGE
AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions, sought to raise visibility among internal and external audiences for its innovative solutions for farmers feeding the world. AGCO came to WM to raise its profile within a competitive industry.
OUR THINKING
After assessing AGCO initiatives in progress, the team recommended demonstrating the company’s leadership through its work in manufacturing, by utilizing Google Glass technology in tractor assembly; and biomass, by processing unused corn plant mass to create energy.
WHAT WE DID
On a regular basis, WM met with the leaders of the internal teams to gain insight into how AGCO was leading the industry. The team devised a content strategy to bring different stories to life for associates and partners and pique the interest of national media.
RESULTS
The team secured coverage over the course of the engagement from mainstream media, including Bloomberg and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, as well as industry-specific media including RFD-TV, AgProfessional, AgriMarketing, and the High Plains Journal. Content created for the corporate website received strong traffic and the material was used to pitch their leadership position in the industry.
